World Citi Medical Center (WCMC), together with the Philippine Red Cross Quezon City Chapter and the Philippine Nurses Association Zone 3 Inc., have conducted a vaccination program on Friday, May 27, 2022, to administer second booster doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The vaccines were made available to WCMC's doctors, staff and employees.
The WCMC doctors present in the event were Medical Director Dr. Margarita S. Santella-Jara and Assistant Medical Director for Clinical and Patient Care Dr. Reymond A. Mora. Volunteer Residents from the Internal Medicine Department and Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, together with WCMC staff nurses, also assisted in the administration of vaccine shots. WCC-College of Pharmacy Dean Ana Monica Neyra-Mingoa was also present in the event.
Also gracing this vaccination effort were the medical practitioners and volunteers from Philippine Red Cross Quezon City Chapter (represented by Janice Melody D. Adolfo) and the Philippine Nurses Association Zone 3 Inc. (represented by Betty F. Merritt, MN, RN, President of PNA; and Ingrid S. Yap, MAN, RN, Governor of PNA Zone 3, Inc.).
Around 525 doses of the second booster of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered on this event.
This vaccination effort comes as part of World Citi Med’s obligation and commitment to serve the community, and ensure the safety of others against the ongoing threat of COVID-19.
