Pediatrics Department

The Pediatric Residency Training Program at the World Citi Medical Center aims to train the next generation of leaders in pediatric health care with our “Mother-Baby Friendly” accreditation at the forefront of its services to provide comprehensive treatment and diagnosis to children from the beginning of their journey in this world.

It was in September 1999, when the Department of Pediatrics first received its Residency Training Program accreditation by the Philippine Pediatric Society under the Chairmanship of Dr. Marieleise Afable. The program had its first batch of graduates in 2005.

We provide practical based training which combines inpatient and outpatient experiences. Our experienced training officers and consultants are more than ready to impart all their professional skills to train aspiring Pediatric Specialists in becoming the best in their chosen field.
